1/25/10: Box o' Skull

It's been a long day, so I have no clue what the hell this is all about either.

1/24/10: The Dork Side

This isn't actually commentary at all. That guy is just a douchebag. Last week he wanted to play Gilmore Girls. And the week prior, he insisted that Pac Man was his own intellectual property.

You might need to enlarge again.

1/23/10: Nine-Banded Armadillos

Don't be too shocked. EVERYONE's had a stint in Guns 'n' Roses by now. They're like Courtney Love. SICKBURN!

Joe B. says: "I think nine-banded armadillos ought to be drawn. you might as well be the one to draw them." Well, me or someone good at drawing, Joe. Hope you like 'em anyway! If you want a crappy pun made out of YOUR suggestion, drop me a line at Addersketch (at) gmail (dot) com

Also, you might need to enlarge this'un to see the wall-of-text better. Just click on the image. Duhsauce.

1/22/10: II Palindrome II

Please welcome one of the worst palindromes I could have possibly come up with: Sine Penis.

I am actually not as sorry as my frowny face implies, but by adding it on, I figure I can toss some clip-art wings on this and sell it at woot for months.

1/21/10 - I Palindrome I

From the Palindrome derby. I felt I had to draw "Was it a car or a cat I saw?" It's not remotely derby ready, but I like it, even if I have a rat and a penis-tail.

Sorry I've fallen so behind on actually drawing. I think I'm back on track.

1/15/10: Three Things are Certain

Death, Taxes, and Laundry.

This is probably why I own so damn many shirts: postponing the inevitable.

1/14/10: The Impossible Dream

Ironically, this was not done with the woot Nightmare derby in mind. Woot is enough of a nightmare as it is, and to be honest, I would love to have this particular dream.

1/13/10: Current Status

I'm not going to pretend I've got anything to show for the last few days. Not that this is much better.

1/7/10 - 1/9/10: Hands and Teeth

So my friend comes up to me, she sez, "draw hands and teeth," so I sez, "sure." An' I draws some teeths and some hands for a coupla days. I dunno if this is what she was thinkin'.

These were done from the top, clockwise. I really like the toothguy, and already have plans to spruce him up later.

Want your idea bastardized by my hand? Send it to Addersketch (at) gmail (dot) com!

1/6/10: Pod People

About a year or so ago, one JadenKale and I did a concept collab for woot on this topic. She did all the art at the time, but I'd always wanted to flesh it out more as I saw it in my head, so I redrew it myself. I think these guys are pretty charming, tbh.

For more on Ms. Leafygreen, you can check her blog or her 365 stream.

1/5/10: Resurrection

I think this is what those hippie treehuggers call "a statement". Take something dynamic and organic, process it into something generic and soulless, and try to resurrect it through art.

Thanks to these guys for the diagramming, which I altered but minorly. I feel that somehow, the ritualistic, methodical nature of origami heightens the true shame of the death of the artisan.

1/4/10: Bon Appetit!

For dunz0, who wanted an omelet. I saw this recipe on Julie and Julia, I think, so I know it works. But then, the only French I know is "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi," so I might have mistaken an ingredient or two.

Also, excitingly, this is a bit cleaner than the last few. We're taking baby steps.

1/3/10: Cursing at cursive

So, some of you (most of you [all of you?]) likely noticed that I did not post yesterday. It was unexpectedly busy for me. But I did, however, bust my ass writing in cursive like it was my job (or like I was in grammar school, when it technically WAS my job). I've postdated this post appropriately, so everything is in order.

This is all in aid of completing a project I've just recently gotten an idea of how to tackle. As such, I'd love your input. Which of these are you the biggest fan of, executionally and stylistically? Your input could end up being very helpful.

Feel free to enlarge for numbers. I don't think it should be TOO shoddy or blurry in quality, but wonders never cease.

1/2/10: Lo Mein's Lyric

This is approximately what my fridge looks like after yesterday.

I finally re-downloaded GIMP, in hopes of polishing these things post-scan, but as you can tell, it is no match for the Epson NX110.

1/1/10: Auld Lang Snake

Dear new scanner: I suppose for $30, I should be happy with your questionable results, but your clearly unforgiving quality and my dubious talents will not get along very well in the future.

This is a quick rough draft of what I would have likely subbed to the woot party collab tee, had I been arsed. With some cheesy text. In order for you not to enlarge this smudgefest, I have linked it to my other blog, singularitee. For your pleasure.
